Nioh 2's Success and Operating Profit - Koei Tecmo Releases Third Quarter Report for Fiscal Year

Video game manufacturers and publishers have traditionally shared financial successes. Koei Tecmo did the same, showing its third quarter report, which ended on December 31, 2020, third quarter.

• Nioh 2's downloads have surpassed 1.4 million copies.
• Hyrule Warrios: Age of Calamity has shipped over 3.5 million copies.
• Altelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy has sold 220,000 copies in Asia and Japan.
• Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV has sold over 100,000 copies in Asia and Japan.

They also shared the total sales and profit figures. In the third quarter of the current fiscal year, the gaming segment's operating income grew 71.9%, which in turn is a whopping 229.4% more than last year.
