According to rumors, the remake of The Last of Us will give fans of the series more than just resolution updates and graphics improvements.

Game Reactor, a source that has shared credible insights in the past, revealed in a new report that the as-yet-unannounced remake is not being developed for PlayStation 4. The remake is expected to be in preparation for PlayStation 5 and will use all the console power and features seen in Last of Us.: Part II, improving not only the graphics, but several other unnamed things.

A remake of The Last of Us hasn't been officially announced yet, but at the moment it looks like it's already in the works. Speaking during a podcast last month, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier revealed that Naughty Dog is working on a remake to keep staff busy while other projects are in pre-production.
