AMD's new leading edge will be three times more powerful than the RX 6900 XT?
Japanese insider Yuko 'KittyCorgi' Yoshida posted on his Twitter account information about the next graphics card from AMD. Interviewed by RedGamingTech owner Paul 'CrimsonRayne' Ecclestone and the gaming industry have come to the conclusion that the new graphics card could be three times more powerful than its predecessor, the RX 6900 XT.
According to rumors, the next graphics device from AMD may have two processors, and the new chip based on the RDNA 3 architecture will differ from its predecessor RDNA 2 with a thinner processor. In theory, such an upgrade can add about 15% performance and increase energy efficiency by 30%.
Paul Ecclestone also added that the new graphics card from AMD can match the processing power of the NVIDIA graphics card, which is present in the Ampere architecture with ray tracing.
The next generation of GPUs is expected to be released in late 2022 or early 2023.
