FPS Boost will not appear in all Xbox games

Not so long ago Microsoft announced the FPS Boost technology. It should improve performance and frame rates for Xbox One games on Xbox Series.

In an interview with the Xbox podcast, Series X/S lead engineer Jason Ronald revealed some details about the new feature. So, Jason clarified that FPS Boost is not implemented for all games.

The problem for the implementation of the initiative can be the code in which the game was originally written. In some cases, animation and physics in titles works twice as fast.

Jason also recalled that it is important for Microsoft to keep the original ideas of the game creators. To do this, the company collaborates with developers and publishers.

FPS Boost was launched last week for several games. FarCry 4, Watch Dogs 2, UFC 4, Sniper Elite 4 and New Super Luckys Tale are on the list of bays.
