Gen.G put huynh on the bench

The North American team Gen.G decided to ask huynh from the starting lineup, sending the player to the bench. Interestingly, huynh remains on a contract with the organization, but he has already stated that he will consider the proposals.

The 26-year-old Canadian became part of the original Gen.G lineup last May. Since then, huynh has won a number of big championships including the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational, Pittsburgh Knights Tournament Series, Pulse Invitational, and Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas.

Already at the beginning of the new season, the team decided to make a number of substitutions, citing a series of unsuccessful results. However, Gen.G's problems did not end as the team continued to show crumpled results. As a result, the best achievement at the start of 2021 was the third place in the VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters. However, after that the team failed to qualify twice for VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers, which is likely the reason for the new replacements.
