Edward retires from professional League of Legends
Edward 'Edward' Abgaryan, known for his performances for Gambit Esports, announced that he will no longer perform on the professional stage in League of Legends. He joined the ranks of the Brazilian organization FURIA Esports and will train the local esportsmen, sharing his experience and best practices with them.
Edward's career began 9 years ago. During his activity, he managed to play under the banners of such teams as Team Empire, Moscow Five, Gambit Esports, Team Curse, ROCCAT, Vega Squadron, Unicorns of Love and Mkers. He has repeatedly played in the League of Legends World Championships and once, and specifically in 2012, he entered the top 4. Edward became the champion in the Intel Extreme Masters series four times and won the splits for the CIS region four times.
Recently, several LoL players have announced their retirement. Former Team SoloMid player Ilyan 'Doublelift' Peng was one of those who retired, and a month earlier Bjergsen had also joined and moved to a coach position at TSM.
