Borderlands 3 will have its own Battle Royale counterpart

The creators of Borderlands 3 from Gearbox spoke with reporters from GameSpot. The topic of the conversation was the first anniversary of the game.

During the conversation, the developers said that they have something to surprise the players even a year after the release. First of all, we are talking about a new regime - the "Arms Race".

As the authors said, "Arms Race" will not become your usual battle royale, but it is being created taking inspiration from this popular genre specifically. Also, the authors stated that the new mode will appeal to fans of Call of Duty.

Arms Race will appear in the game before the end of October this year. And in early 2021, a cross-play should appear in Borderlands 3.
