Activision Blizzard's CEO, Bobby Kotick, confirmed his departure from the company by writing a farewell message to the employees.

Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, also extended gratitude to Kotick in an internal memo, acknowledging his invaluable contributions to the gaming industry and wishing him success in the future.

During Kotick's tenure since joining Activision in 1990, the company's stock prices saw significant growth. However, in recent years, Activision Blizzard has faced serious scandals, including allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment, along with a notable claim suggesting Kotick threatened to have his assistant killed.

Nevertheless, Kotick thanked his colleagues and departed with positive wishes for the company, expressing confidence in its future success.
