The designer who worked on the Warcraft and Overwatch series has left Blizzard after 26 years of service
After working at Blizzard for 26 years, designer Scott Mercer, who made significant contributions to the World of Warcraft and Overwatch series, has decided to leave the company.
In his statement, Mercer emphasized that he takes pride in his long tenure at the company and greatly appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with talented colleagues on fantastic games. Currently, the designer plans to dedicate more time to his physical and mental well-being.
Scott Mercer joined Blizzard in 1998 and has been actively involved in the development of flagship projects for many years, including StarCraft and its sequel, WarCraft 3 with expansions, Diablo III, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch 2.
