2023 Gaming Industry: Record Revenue, Mobile Dominance, and Top Sellers

Throughout 2023, the gaming industry showcased impressive financial stability and growth, as reported by GamesIndustry.biz. The overall revenue during this period was staggering, reaching a total of $184 billion.

An interesting highlight is that mobile gaming emerged as an unstoppable revenue leader, amassing a whopping $90.4 billion. Console games held their ground, generating over $53.2 billion, while computer games managed to contribute $38.4 billion to the industry. Additionally, browser-based PC games added $1.9 billion to the overall figures.
