Elisa Nordic Championship 2021 Announced With $ 100,000 Prize Pool

The tournament will be held with the participation of teams from Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway and will be held in a league format. The final event for the teams will be Elisa Invitaitonal 2021.

The organizers have named the Elisa Nordic Championship series and will compete for $ 100,000 between January and April next year.

First, they will host four national leagues with prize pools of $ 12,500 with 16 participants in each. The winner of each league will then face off against their opponents in the final Elisa Invitational, with a prize pool of $ 50,000. There they will be joined by four more invited teams.

Each league will have three open qualifiers, which will determine 12 out of 16 participants. The remaining teams will receive direct invitations.

The organizers also spoke about the details of the Finnish League. It starts on January 8, and the teams will play in the double-elimination bracket in the group stage. The two best teams will advance to the playoffs, as expected, and will compete in the single-elimination bracket. The final stage will begin on March 4th.
