XCOM Legends Early Access kicks off on Android

The studio Iridium Starfish, which has not previously been noted for high-profile projects, is developing a mobile XCOM Legends. In some countries, you can already try out the game.

The game takes place 20 years after the first invasion. How deeply the plot will be worked out is not entirely clear.

XCOM Legends is a single player turn-based RPG. Players will have to destroy waves of opponents using fighters of different classes with different sets of skills.

However, fans of the original XCOM shouldn't be too happy about it. The tactical component does not look like the "senior" XCOM, and the gameplay strongly reeks of a classic mobile game.
