Guilty Gear Strive postponed until summer
Guilty Gear Strive, the next game in the Arc System Works created series, has been delayed until June for additional polish.
In a new statement posted online, the development team has confirmed that the game will now release on June 11th instead of April 9th. Additional development time will be used to polish some aspects of the game, such as the online lobby and server stability. Last month, there was an open beta for Guilty Gear Strive, in which fans noted issues with the network code as well as some issues with the lobby system. Arc System Works, taking into account the feedback from the players, decided to finalize important aspects of the game and bring Guilty Gear Strive to mind.
Note that Guilty Gear Strive will continue the series' tradition of combining 2D and 3D graphics, developing gameplay with new game mechanics.
Guilty Gear Strive launches June 11 on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 worldwide.
