STALKER 2 Player Discovers Genshin Impact Easter Egg Featuring a Hilarious Zhongli Meme Reference!
Although STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was released just a few days ago, players have already stumbled upon numerous Easter eggs scattered across the map. The game’s development spanned over a decade, but this FPS finally launched on PC and Xbox, garnering immense popularity among both old and new fans. Shortly after its November 20 release, STALKER 2 achieved impressive sales and recorded over 100,000 concurrent players on Steam within the first few hours.
Among the many Easter eggs planted by the developers, some reference other franchises. One, in particular, pays homage to the Genshin Impact community. Reddit user CorruptedY discovered a dialogue in STALKER 2 that echoes Zhongli’s iconic line from Genshin Impact. In the screenshot shared by the player, an NPC says, “Cossack vodka tastes the same as I remember… but where are those who share the memory?” This line is a clear nod to Zhongli’s famous idle voiceline about osmanthus wine, which became a meme among Genshin Impact fans.
The player revealed that the NPC, a trader named Bobber, can be found at Shevchenko in the Zaton region. In STALKER 2, traders enable players to buy and sell items that aid in missions. In this Easter egg, vodka cleverly replaces Zhongli’s osmanthus wine, creating a witty reference for Genshin Impact enthusiasts.
This isn’t the first time fans have spotted references to other franchises in STALKER 2. The game also includes Easter eggs related to Harry Potter and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Additionally, one Easter egg fondly recalls the first STALKER game from 2007.
Despite receiving generally positive reviews from critics, players have reported bugs and glitches affecting their gameplay experience. GSC Game World has already released a patch addressing these issues, promising smoother gaming sessions for fans in the future.
