Fortnite Creative 2.0: Exploring the Features of the Game Map
The release of Fortnite Creative 2.0 has opened the door for players to create their own maps, gamemodes, animations, and more. Despite the endless possibilities this new update offers, many players are drawn to the familiar landscape of the original Fortnite map from Season 1.
Fortunately, even if you don't have a time machine at your disposal, you can still revisit Tilted Towers as it was in 2017. This impressive technology utilizes the power of Unreal Engine 5 and is accessible to all players for free. Currently, only PC players can create their own projects using the Unreal Editor, but these creations can be played on any device or console.
Atlas Creative was the first developer to take on the challenge of recreating Fortnite Chapter 1, and their efforts can be easily accessed by searching for it in the custom games tab or by entering the island code 2179-7822-3395. The ATLAS OG BATTLE ROYALE replica is almost identical to Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 3, allowing players to revisit iconic points of interest like Dusty Depot, use classic weapons, and relive the simpler times of early Fortnite.
However, it is important to note that this custom map is still in beta and may experience more lag than standard modes, a lack of named locations on the map, and a smaller player count in solo Battle Royale. Building is also always enabled, so players who have not used this feature in a while may struggle. Nevertheless, Atlas is actively seeking feedback from players in order to improve the experience, so if you have any thoughts, make sure to let them know.
