Schalke 04 Esports announces collaboration with Emma

Schalke 04 Esports, the esports arm of German soccer club Schalke 04, has announced a partnership with mattress manufacturer Emma.

According to a video announcement from the organization, Schalke 04 Esports will be provided with Emma Motion smart beds. In addition, Emma will provide scientific evidence to help the team improve their sleep schedule.

Tim Reichert, Managing Director of Schalke 04 Esports, commented on the agreement:"We are very pleased to announce our new sleeping partner Emma. I truly believe that sleep is one of the most important factors for our team to perform at the highest level."

Note that Schalke 04 Esports is not the only esports team that pays close attention to sleep and scheduling. Just a few months ago, Gravitas announced its partnership with Flinders University to participate in sleep research.

The video preview also stated that Emma products are designed to measure and enhance skills such as reaction time, visual working memory, and emotional balance.
