theScore appoints Eric Wax as Vice President of Esports Sales

Score Media and Gaming, operator-oriented eSports content brand theScore Esports, announced the hiring of Eric Vaks to the position of Vice President of Sales of eSports. In his new role, he will help lead the platform's partnerships team.

Most recently, Wax served as Director of Strategic Alliances for Live Nation, developing non-endemic sponsorship deals for live music events. He also co-founded marketing platform Fullbottle, which has worked with clients such as Disney, Hasbro, and PepsiCo. Wax also has experience in the gaming space, having previously worked in multiple roles for ten years at Miniclip, a browser-based gaming company acquired by Tencent in 2015.
