Gamescom 2020 conference has been converted to online format due to the coronavirus pandemic

The organizers of Gamescom 2020 announced on their Twitter account that they will hold the event in an online format, following the example of many companies that did the same.

In Germany, until the end of summer, mass events were banned until the end of summer, and this was the main reason for digitizing the upcoming video game conference. The organizers paid special attention to the fact that their approach to the Gamescom 2020 will not change even if the authorities change the quarantine conditions.

Gamescom 2020 was to be held from August 25 to 29 in Cologne. Now it will be held online, but the date of the conference should not change.
