Ninjas in Pajamas starts cooperation with GamerPay
Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pajamas and marketplace GamerPay have announced a two-year partnership agreement. The goal of the partnership is to eliminate online game asset (skins) fraud.
GamerPay becomes the digital partner of the Ninjas in Pajamas CS: GO roster, as well as the main partner for the youth team. In addition, GamerPay also becomes NIP's official skin trading partner.
Jonas Gundersen, Chief Operating Officer of NIP: "The skin trading fraud problem has been a problem in CS: GO for many years. As such, partnering with a safe and reliable trading platform is seen as a 'simple task' for the NIP."
NIP and GamerPay reported that they spoke with over 5,000 gamers, who detailed that they were cheated. Working alongside NIP, Gamepay is committed to leveraging partnerships to help address this issue.
Martin Likke Suhr, Co-Founder of GamerPay:“We are already seeing ourselves making a difference in the lives of gamers. Watching all the great feedback and positive feedback from the Counter-Strike community shows that we are doing everything right. Unfortunately, cheating on the Internet is much easier than in real the world, and more often than not we see young players under the age of 18 suffer. "
As a reminder, it wasn't until October that the Swedish esports organization announced a five-year deal with blockchain company Zilliqa. In addition, a week earlier Ninjas in Pajamas launched the Shinobi Esports venture.
