The details of qualifiers to IEM World Championship Katowice 2018 were announced

IEM World Championship Katowice 2018 will be carried out with a prize pool in the sum of $500,000 and 16 best teams of the modernity on March 2-4. Eight teams will be invited directly and the rest of participants will determine with a help of qualifiers. Organizers have revealed the details of qualifiers in Europe and North America.

The European qualification

• 4 slots for IEM Katowice 2018
• 2 open qualifiers (unlimited slots, single elimination, two finalists of each qualifier go to closed qualifier)
• 1 closed qualifier (12 slots, double elimination, 8 teams invited + 4 from open qualifiers)

• Open Qualifier #1 - 23th-24th of January (Start time: 19:00 CET)
• Open Qualifier #2 - 31st of January - 1st of February (Start time: 19:00 CET)
• Closed Qualifier - 3rd-4th of February
