REZ renews contract with NIP
The Swedish esports organization NIP has announced a contract renewal with REZ. The 23-year-old Swedish player is now associated with the organization until 2021. Note that the news was announced shortly after the Swedish victory over Team One in the ESL Pro League, which was secured by a spectacular 1vs4 clutch in the final round from REZ.
The 23-year-old has already spent four years at the NIP, joining the organization in 2017, having played alongside the cult team duo f0rest and GeT_RiGhT. For four years, REZ has experienced not only various lineup variations, but also the rebranding of the organization itself.
“I'm motivated - it's great that I signed with NIP for another four years. When I joined the organization, I was just a beginner, there were a lot of experienced people around me,” said REZ.
Note that during this period the Swede managed to become the winner of DreamHack Open Valencia 2017, Intel Extreme Masters XII - Oakland, Europe Minor Championship - London 2018 and Esports Championship Series Season 7 - Europe. In addition, as part of the NIP, the player took part in FACEIT Major: London 2018, Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Katowice Major 2019 and StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
Right now, NIP is playing in ESL Pro League Season 14, having good chances to make it to the playoffs of the championship.
