Former Heroic CS: GO coach Nikolay "HUNDEN" Petersen will receive a two-year ban from ESIC for transferring the strategy folder to a competitor. This is reported by the TV2.dk portal, whose representatives talked with a Danish specialist.

The case is drawing to a close as HUNDEN is about to be banned for sharing confidential information with a rival team.

The coach himself is at a loss that ESIC did not listen to his arguments regarding this case:

I am deeply saddened that ESIC decided not to listen to me in this case, because I believe that this is a huge case. I was never heard on this particular occasion. The only thing ESIC did was they threatened me, saying that if I decided to appeal the verdict, I would instead get a ban for five years.

According to the portal, HUNDEN should have been banned for up to two years. The decision should have been made as early as Tuesday, but new evidence has emerged, and therefore the decision is postponed until Friday, August 27, when, according to ESIC, the new evidence could have potential significance for the verdict.

Heroic claims that an internal investigation revealed that HUNDEN shared confidential information from the team's strategy folder with a competitor ahead of the Cologne tournament without their knowledge, leading the organization to initiate criminal proceedings against HUNDEN and terminate the coach's contract.

The case was another serious blow to the 30-year-old coach's reputation, which was already undermined after he received an eight-month ban from ESIC in late 2020 for using the infamous "camera bug".
