What do they say about the defeat of Astralis in the first round of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021?
The first match that took place within the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021 caught all CS: GO fans by surprise. The team, which is on the 2nd place in the top of the best CS: GO rosters in the world according to HLTV, could not defeat OG, who announced the changes in the roster a couple of days before the start of the championship.
Astralis is remembered by many players as a true CS: GO titan who, for the first time in history, managed to hold the lead in the HLTV rating for a long period that lasted more than a year.
We have collected some statements from various representatives of esports and share with you our suggestions regarding the future scenario for the development of the Danish CS: GO team.
Recall that Astralis lost the first map, taking only 7 rounds, and in the second they imposed a very serious struggle on their opponents and brought the game to overtime.
After the lost match, Emil 'Magisk' Hoffmann Reif said that he was dissatisfied with the result and the team would play better:
"We can play better and we have to work on it in the future! Nice game OG. Good luck in the tournament!"
In another interview, gla1ve gave a hint that the team needs some changes in order for the roster to be improved. More recently, there were rumors on the Internet that the sixth player of the Bubzkji team, after the innovation from Valve with a penalty for using substitute players, would be excluded as being unnecessary. Lucas Andersen said that such statements are nothing more than a lie and a provocation, and his appearance in the match against OG once again proved that the club is interested in working with him.
However, in order for Bubzkji to come to the starting roster, you first need to exclude someone from there. The same conclusion was reached by analyst Mathieu 'Maniac' Kiequerez:
"I am by no means diminishing the credit for OG, but I think Astralis should sound the alarm. I wouldn't be surprised to hear about replacements in the coming weeks."
However, not everyone was surprised by the defeat of Astralis in a bad sense. Newcomer OG, who was signed by the club on the eve of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021, shared his impressions of the match.
Shahar 'flameZ' Shushan said the following:
"It's nice to beat teams like Astralis. Especially on the debut."
The CS: GO community is already discussing with might and main about who exactly can leave the team. Most users believe that Xyp9x may soon be suspended, as it is Bubzkji who replaces him in some matches. Someone even thinks that he can end his career as a professional CS: GO player.
Whether it is true or not, we will already find out in the near future, but based on all the changes in Astralis cannot be avoided.
