Nuno 'BhT' Silva, a Portuguese esports player and caster, revealed that Valve could conduct an open beta test of CS: GO on the Source 2 engine. His sources said that the CS: GO developers have plans to change Mirage and Office. In addition, the rumor about the Tuscan release that surfaced last month may turn out to be true.

BhT reported that Valve has already brought CS: GO to mind on the new engine, and therefore players will probably be able to try Source 2 on their own in the next couple of months. A Portuguese source claims that three new modes may appear in CS: GO: Heist, Retake and Versus. The latter will differ in the format 1vs1 and 2vs2.

Yesterday, information was discovered in the Artifact beta update files mentioning a link between CS: GO and Source 2.
