The teams Astralis and Heroic have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Stavn and Jabbi
The leading teams in the esports world, Astralis and Heroic, seem to be nearing a long-awaited agreement despite recurring conflicts and strained relations between them.
Information from sources close to both organizations, confirmed by HLTV, suggests that Astralis is in the final stages of negotiations to acquire Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard from their current contracts with Heroic.
This pivotal point in the discussions comes after prolonged and intricate talks, complicated by the tension between Astralis and Heroic.
In one of the recent episodes of drama between these two teams, Heroic, in their official statement on October 25, announced the removal of stavn and jabbi from the main roster, citing unprofessional actions by Astralis towards these players.
Their statement claimed that the pair had agreed to extend contracts with Heroic only on the condition of replacing Casper "cadiaN" Møller but then reneged on their commitments, stating they had plans with Astralis.
Astralis did not directly respond to this statement. However, stavn posted a tweet, also shared by jabbi, stating, "Love this world. As they say, the truth always prevails."
At present, it remains unclear which two players from Johannes "b0RUP" Borup, Victor "Staehr" Staehr, and Christian "Buzz" Andersen will be removed from Astralis' main roster to make room for new additions.
The departing players are expected to participate in the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Final in Copenhagen, the organization's hometown, regardless of whether the new additions are finalized by then.
BLAST's tournament rules do not allow changes to the submitted roster after the registration deadline, except in extraordinary circumstances. Astralis has already submitted their current roster, including Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen as a substitute player.
