Roster Revolution: B8 Esports Initiates Major Change After RMR Qualifier Setback
The Ukrainian team decided to undergo a roster change following their inability to progress through the RMR open qualifiers. B8 has officially announced the benching of Denis "amster" Liashenko, as the team fell short in four attempts to advance through the RMR open qualifiers.
Amster dedicated over 18 months to the team, participating in two RMRs during his tenure with the organization. Despite reaching the Last Chance Qualifier and narrowly missing out on a spot at the Paris Major in 2023, where they secured a 9-11th place at the IEM Road to Rio RMR, B8 faced challenges breaking into the tier-one scene and had limited LAN appearances.
During amster's time with the team, B8 achieved their highest world ranking at No. 36. However, despite this accomplishment, they struggled to establish themselves in top-tier competitions.
Amster, the 22-year-old player, concluded his time with the team as the lowest-rated player, boasting a 0.93 rating across 250 maps. His final appearance was marked by a loss to fency&dogs in the Round of 256 during the fourth European open qualifier for the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen.
Expressing his gratitude on Twitter, amster stated, "Thank you to every player, coach, analyst, and every member of the organization. From today, I am looking for a new team. I am experienced, ready to study, practice, and do everything to win."
The current roster for B8 now consists of:
- Arseniy "cptkurtka023" Derevinskiy (Ukraine)
- Mykhailo "OWNER" Lymar (Ukraine)
- Artem "r1nkle" Moroz (Ukraine)
- Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi (Ukraine)
With coach Ivan "maddened" Iordanidi from russia.
Denis "amster" Liashenko has been benched, seeking new opportunities in his esports career.
