Nearly half of the CS:GO players now have access to CS 2

According to data from the Leetify analytics service, nearly half of CS:GO players now have access to the limited beta testing of CS 2.

Based on statistics, the mass distribution of invitations began at the end of August. During the period from the 21st to the 28th of the month, the percentage of Leetify users with CS 2 invites increased sharply from 7.1% to 49.1%. Currently, this figure is approaching 50%.

On September 1st, Valve released a significant update for CS 2, introducing the MR12 system (24 rounds per match), adding a new rating system, and conducting another wave of beta test invitations. Details can be found on our website.

The release date of CS 2 is still unknown, but according to rumors, the full game release is expected after the conclusion of ESL Pro League Season 18, which ends on October 1st.
