Zews quits MiBR
The former MiBR mentor reported this news on his Twitter account. He explained his action by the fact that he does not see a way out for the team in the current state of affairs. He does not relieve himself of responsibility and said that he was also partially to blame for the fact that the team could not achieve any results during his coaching. Along with this, Zews noted that there are serious problems within the team, because of which in the near future it will definitely not be able to strengthen its position in the international CS: GO-arena.
Recall that Zews became part of MiBR at the end of 2018. Together with him, the team performed in many tournaments, but did not win a single victory. The best that the Brazilians were able to achieve was to take 3-4 places in the first Major tournament of 2019.
A former MiBR trainer said that because of the coronavirus, he would not be able to fly home and would remain in the United States, and therefore is now in search of a new job for himself. He will consider all options where he can continue his career as a mentor.
In a recent interview, the captain of the Brazilian team, FalleN said that at the moment the duties of the coach will be performed by the manager of the e-sports organization, and the team does not need to find a new mentor at all.
