paTiTek, ardiis and zeek leave G2

G2 have announced their lineup changes, parting ways with paTiTek, ardiis and zeek. The team is expected to provide additional details of the major reshuffle soon.

The longest-playing player of the departed was paTiTek. The 21-year-old Polish player joined G2 back in June last year, becoming part of the main driving force of the European scene. In turn, ardiis joined G2 a month later, leaving fish123.

zeek joined G2 in mid-January. Despite the fact that the team needed a captain after Davidp left, G2 decided to take the risky move without IGL. It goes without saying that the results of the team required a reliable leader who could lead the team in important rounds.

Rumors around the upcoming changes in the G2 roster have been circulating for a long time. The team failed the spring segment of the season, in particular, failing to show itself in the framework of VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2, thereby not getting to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals.
