NRG acquires ANDROID from Andbox
NRG Esports officially acquires ANDROID from Andbox. Note that the first hint was made during the registration of participants for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3, where the Canadian player unexpectedly did not appear in the Andbox application.
The 26-year-old Canadian started his professional carter in 2015. During his six years of playing CS: GO, he tried himself in teams such as compLexity Gaming, Team Envy and Ze Pug Godz. During this time, the Canadian won the Americas Minor Championship - London 2018, and also reached the playoffs of FACEIT Major: London 2018.
After leaving professional CS: GO in early September due to internal problems with Ze Pug Godz, ANDROID became one of the first two Andbox players alongside yay. The Canadian quickly became a superstar, consistently topping the team leaderboard as a star duelist.
While the replacement at Andbox has yet to be officially confirmed, the line-up for the upcoming VCT Challengers 3 indicates that Hoppin is coming on probation.
From now on, the NRG roster is as follows:
- Eeiu.
- daps.
- s0m.
- Shanks.
- Infinite.
- ANDROID.
- Chet (trainer).
