Ubisoft introduced Tom Clancy’s XDefiant

Yesterday, as promised, the presentation of a new game in the Tom Clancy's universe took place. Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy's XDefiant.

Tom Clancy's XDefiant is a multi-platform free multiplayer first-person shooter. At the head of the table in XDefiant is the faction system.

In the future, militant groups called "apostates" are fighting for world domination. Members of these gangs choose their own grouping, which in fact acts as an analogue of classes.

At the start, players will have to choose one of four factions: "Wolves", "Outcasts", "Cleaners", "Echelon". Each faction has its own characteristics that they are not shy about using in battles.

Fights in Tom Clancy's XDefiant take place in arenas, where two groups of 6 people each fight. In addition to standard 6x6 battles, they will offer a number of third-party modes like "Domination" and "Escort".

Tom Clancy's XDefiant will become available for testing on August 5, and even then not everywhere. Citizens of the United States and Canada will be the first to try out the new game in the Tom Clancy`s universe.

XDefiant will be out on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
