TSMC is the largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world and is based in Thailand. Due to the fact that the company decided to cancel discounts for its key customers, processors from AMD, NVIDIA and Apple may rise in price, but this is unlikely to lead to higher prices for their products.
Until recently, TSMC provided a 3% discount to its main customers, who, in turn, ordered copies of hundreds of thousands of plates.

Nowadays there is another problem in the technical market, namely, a very high demand for the production of 5-7 nanometer processors. It led to a shortage of new AMD processors and NVIDIA video cards at the recommended prices. Most likely, this demand was the reason for the cancellation of the 3% discounts from TSMC.
