The secret of the mysterious door in Demon's Souls has been unraveled

Distortion2 is the first player to unlock a mysterious cache in the remake of Demon's Souls. In the original hardcore game, there was no such cache, and therefore the secret of opening the door in the "Obelisk of the Tower Knight" location tormented many players. Distortion2 solved the puzzle live by playing the game on Twitch.

It turns out that this cache cannot be opened when playing Demon's Souls for the first time. After players complete the first playthrough, they gain access to a special mode in which the world of the game comes in a mirrored view. It is in this form at the right level that a new collectible can be found, namely ceramic coins. Having in stock 30 ceramic coins, you can exchange a rusty key from the crow Sparkly, which opens the same cache on the "Obelisk of the Tower Knight" level. Savvy users will be able to receive unique armor as a reward.

The remake of Demon's Souls was released on November 12 and entered the PlayStation 5 launch lineup. The game was warmly received by critics and gamers alike. On Metacritic, the game was rated 92/100 by game journalists on average, and users rated the Demon's Souls remake at 8.9/10.
