Kingdom Hearts developers tease "mysterious" announcement

Tetsuya Nomura, Game Director of Kingdom Hearts, in a recent interview with Famitsu revealed that he is hard at work on "something" ahead of the game's anniversary day. In 2022, the project will turn 20 years old.

Nomura said in an interview that the Kingdom Hearts team is working on something new, and he himself has already switched to thinking about the next project. The game director said that while he and the team are not ready to make announcements, but in the future, fans will definitely have many surprises.

In another interview, Tetsuya Nomura touched on the topic of Kingdom Hearts and Nintendo Switch. According to the game director, he and the team have no plans to release more titles for Switch.
