Epic Games Announces Fortnite's Remix Chapter 2 with Live Event "Remix: The Prelude"

Epic Games has announced the end of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 and the start of Remix Chapter 2, launching with a live event called Remix: The Prelude. Building on last year’s successful Fortnite OG season, which revived the original Chapter 1 map, Epic is bringing players back to the Chapter 2 island. This transition will be marked by the Remix: The Prelude live event, set to happen on November 1.

The Fortnite OG season, a month-long nostalgia event, saw record-breaking engagement with 44.7 million players and 102 million hours of gameplay in a single day. Players have since been requesting that Epic make the OG map a permanent playlist. Instead, Epic is aiming to go bigger with Remix Chapter 2, combining the classic Chapter 2 island with new twists.
