Update v30.40, the last patch for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, also known as "Wrecked," introduced exciting new features. This update brought Fall Guys to the Battle Royale mode, fast travel to LEGOFortnite, and proximity chat to Creative mode. Chapter 5 Season 3 Live Event Timing

With the release of update v30.40, several changes were made to the Battle Royale island. NPCs were added to the map, the Minigun was unvaulted, and most notably, an event countdown appeared on the island. The in-game event countdown can be found at Brutal Beachhead. A timer is projected upwards from the eastern side of Megalo Don's ship. According to the countdown, the Fortnite live event is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, at 2 PM ET.

What to Expect During the Live Event

Currently, the connection between the countdown at Brutal Beachhead and the end-of-season events or the beginning of Chapter 5 Season 4 is unknown. However, leaks suggest a potential link to Pandora's Box, a recurring artifact in the Chapter 5 Season 3 Story Quests.

Previously, Pandora's Box was held by the Titan Hand, but during the last live event, it fell and sank to the bottom of the river near Ruined Reels. Throughout this season's Story Quests, players have assisted Hope in collecting several Pandora Gems, which may play a role in what happens next with the box.
