ILTW: "I only play [Gambit] because of my friend, not because I want to play there"
Russian esportsman Igor 'iLTW' Filatov recently hosted another broadcast on his Twitch channel and had a little chat with viewers. They asked him a question about his future future at AS Monaco Gambit, to which he gave a very clear and concise answer:
I only play because of my friend, not because I want to play there.[...]
I will not play Gambit. I have already answered this question. I'm standin for a tournament, I've said it a hundred times.
Filatov also shared his opinion on what is still more profitable: to be a streamer or a player. He unequivocally believes that being a streamer is much better, since, unlike cybersportsmen, you don't need to worry about your results and life is much easier:
Guys, to be honest, being a streamer is much cooler than a player. Just at times. Nobody flames you, you don't need to worry. You don't have to sweat like}} }} }} every day, die after every scream. You live in a simple high, and you get big money. And if you are a player and you do not win anything, then you do not get anything, absolutely
Igor 'iLTW' Filatov is currently taking part in the Dota 2 Championship League Season 2 with a prize pool of $ 50,000 as part of AS Monaco Gambit. The championship started on July 19 and will end on August 8. The event takes place online.
The team has been performing recently without much effort, and as a result, the team is in last place in the group stage table. Russian-speaking commentator Vladimir 'Maelstorm' Kuzminov made a strong statement about AS Monaco Gambit's results. You can read more about this here.
Since April 10 this year, Igor 'iLTW' Filatov has been playing for Team Nigma. On April 6, Romanian esportsman Alivi 'w33' Omar left the team, playing in the mid-position. His place in the team was taken by Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkave, and the place of Miracle-, in turn, was taken by the Russian iLTW.
