Valve has announced the launch of a new blog series called "Between the Lanes" in Dota 2. In this series, the developers will share their experiences, discussing the challenges, mistakes, and serendipitous moments they encountered during the game's development.

As the first example, they mentioned a bug related to Techies' ability "Sticky Bomb," which was discovered after the release of the "New Horizons" update. Due to this bug, the Sticky Bomb existed indefinitely, and the player who created it could control it.

Valve employees revealed how they fixed this issue and surprisingly, it all came down to just one line of code.

It's known that the Dota 2 developers plan to release patch 7.34 before the start of the regional qualifiers for The International 2023, commencing on August 17th. However, the specific changes to be introduced in the game are not yet known.
