FunPlus Phoenix said goodbye to manager and coach

The FunPlus Phoenix team said goodbye to peca and Devilwalk, who served as manager and trainer respectively. Both specialists have been in the structure of the organization since the formation of the composition in January 2021.

Changes in the band's structure followed a couple of disappointing months for FunPlus Phoenix. The team not only managed to fail in qualifying for the PGL Major in Stockholm, but also failed to qualify for important championships, such as IEM Cologne 2021 and ESL Pro League Season 14. In addition, FunPlus Phoenix dropped out of the TOP-30 of the world ranking, which became the consequence of endless defeat and lack of practice.

Both Devilwalk and peca have expressed their intentions to pursue their careers in new teams. The Serb, who also led FunPlus Phoenix's VALORANT division, said that “after an exciting year, it's time for him to start new things,” while the Swedish specialist said he is open to suggestions from CS: GO or VALORANT.

Note that FunPlus Phoenix is currently participating in the closed qualifier for IEM Winter 2021 from Europe in hopes of getting a seat in the $ 250,000 tournament in December.
